Signlo — Accessibility statement

Effective date: 3 September 2026
Provider: Signlo, Inc., a Delaware corporation, 8 The Green #25812, Dover, DE 19901, United States

Signlo is built by Deaf people for Deaf and signing people. Accessibility is not a feature we added; it is the reason the product exists. That raises the standard we hold ourselves to rather than lowering it, and this page says where we stand — including where we fall short.

1. What we commit to

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA on this website and, for the app, the equivalent platform guidance from Apple and Google, as well as the accessibility requirements of Section 508 and the European Accessibility Act.

2. Deaf-first, by design

3. Beyond Deaf access

Deaf people are also blind, low-vision, autistic, dyslexic, and motor-disabled. Designing only for one axis of access is how a community gets split. So:

4. Where we fall short

An accessibility statement that claims everything works is not a statement, it is marketing. Signlo is in closed beta and is tested continuously, but conformance is not yet independently audited, and automated checks do not catch everything a real user hits.

If something blocks you, that is a defect and we want to hear about it, including for parts of the product we have not thought to test.

5. Telling us

Write to support@signlo.com in any language, or send a signed video. Tell us what you were trying to do, what happened, and the device you were using if you know it.

We treat accessibility reports as bugs with a name on them, not as feedback. We will tell you what we found and what we are doing about it.
