Deleting your data

Signlo is Deaf-led and privacy-by-design. You are always in control of your data, including anything connected to Facebook or Instagram.

Disconnect Facebook or Instagram

If you connected a Facebook Page or an Instagram account for cross-posting, you can disconnect it at any time:

1. Open the Signlo app → Settings → Connected accounts.
2. Tap Disconnect next to Facebook or Instagram.

Disconnecting immediately stops all sharing and permanently deletes the access token we stored for that account. Signlo keeps no copy of your Facebook/Instagram login or password at any time.

Delete your whole Signlo account

To erase everything — your profile, posts, messages, and all connected-account data:

1. Open the Signlo app → Settings → Delete account.
2. Confirm. Your account and all associated data, including any Facebook/Instagram connections, are permanently deleted.

Request deletion by email

Prefer we handle it for you? Email our Data Protection contact at privacy@signlo.com from the address on your account and we will delete your data and confirm when it is done.
